I was at the launch ramp yesterday and met a nice couple that had just finished a day of testing out their boat for the first time this season, and doing a little fishing.   They told me that they had caught and released eight fish that day but one of the fish had gone “belly up” after it was released.  A minute or so later an adult Eagle swooped down and snatched the fish out of the water.  When I talked to them they were very excited to have such a close encounter with one of these great birds.
